Hanumantiya Tapu is indeed a beautiful island not far from Khandwa and is a popular destination for tourists interested in water sports. The MP Tourism Development Board (Madhya Pradesh) has created a wonderful area to relax and take in the sights of the Indira Sagar Dam's renowned backwaters.
You can have a good time here any time of year, but Jal Mahotsav is when it really comes alive. From November through January, every year, the city of Hanuwantiya hosts the Jal Mahotsav, and during that time, the energy level of the city is said to reach unprecedented heights.
All 365 days of the year, you may get to this island without any trouble. Boat rides, Floating Fantasy, and cruises are the primary activities available. These actions can only be taken when the water level in the dam is high enough to allow them.
From November till March, this area experiences winter. This is the best time to visit the Hanumantiya Tapu, with temperatures ranging from 5 to 18 degrees. In these winter months you may anticipate a comfortable climate there.
With unusually pleasant weather, this may be the best time of year to visit here.
The coldest time of year is January, which is winter. Maximum temperatures during the day hover around an agreeable 29°C (85°F), while lows at night often hover around 11°C (52°F).
It is therefore preferable to avoid traveling during the monsoon and summer seasons. This is because the summer heat might cause the water level to drop below what is considered safe for boating.
The monsoons can cause the water level to surge unexpectedly. Therefore, the months of July to September should be avoided, and October through April is optimal for a trip to Hanumantiya Tapu. The rainfall usually occurs over the course of six days or more, though this time frame can vary greatly, and it will be better if you avoid these months.
If you're planning your vacation on the weather, this is probably not the best time to visit Hanumantiya Tapu. The climate is typically unfavorable, making outdoor activities less appealing.
Hot and humid daytime highs of approximately 30°C (86°F) and cool evening lows of around 23°C (73°F) are typical.
From April to June, Hanumantiya Tapu experiences its warmest months, with temperatures reaching beyond 40- 45 degrees Fahrenheit.
